At present Ian works for BP and lives in Trinidad with his wife Nina and family Zach and Alana. They organised a visit to England in August 2010 and to spend some of their sojourn at Brighton with parents.
At about the same time, John who runs his own business, is an independent consultant, focussing on the development and implementation of new ideas and strategies. A lot of his work is involved with universities and consequently, this August he spent some time in Cambridge. He decided to take along his wife Christina and children Edward and Nadia.
This meant that a few days were set aside to meet at parents house in Brighton to give the cousins a great opportunity to get to know one another - from Grandparents to wee ones.
On one of the days, Carl and his wife Julie with their two little girls, Eve and Iris, managed to drive from Cambridge and share in the get-together.
We all met at an excellent restuarant on the South Downs at Devils Dyke where the views across the Sussex Weald are spendid. The day was sunny and breezy and the children enjoyed the romp on the hillside.
