Suggestions and Notes :

Joan: A Macro is a special setting on the camera and is taken only a few inches away from the subject. All the pictures were great but some were close ups not true Macro. Keep trying.

Terry: I think it would have been quite acceptable to take a picture at high resolution and use a photo-editor to pick-out a small section. Thus Ian's spider was quite high resolution (hence, as sent, horizontal scroll was required to see all of it - I reduced it to a width of 800 pixels to fit on screen). Had he wanted, a small section of the spider only could have been used by cropping the rest and giving a much enlarged view of the head without it showing pixelation.

Jacqui: Again, all too good.
